Mammography at OB/GYN Associates of Erie
At OB/GYN Associates of Erie, we offer 3D imaging (breast tomosynthesis) in addition to standard digital mammography for breast cancer screening exams. Our practice uses Siemens Inspiration Prime mammography units, which are wide-angle 3D breast tomosynthesis machines for our mammography services.
These units offer up to 30 percent less radiation dose levels compared to other 3D machines, allowing excellence in breast cancer detection with minimal radiation exposure.
Our mammography services are accredited through the American College of Radiology (ACR). Our mammography technicians are registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and have special certifications in mammography.
